About Us – ABM visual
ABM visual is an Adelaide based 3D Virtual Tour and Google Maps service provider, specialising in creating 3D Virtual Experiences.
In 2016, having spent most of his twenties working all over the country and the world (demolition and construction in Peru, scuba diving in Cambodia, and years as a landscaper in Adelaide), Michael Petros relocated from the UAE to Geelong, to be closer to his family.
After being injured at work in 2018, Michael spent all of 2019 studying photography and videography.
While attending college, Michael volunteered as a videographer and photographer at the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre in Queenscliff. During his time there he was fortunate enough to travel around Victoria documenting events for the Victorian Fisheries Authority.
At the end of 2019, after graduating, the VFA took Michael on as an Education Officer. This gave him the opportunity to set up his own business on the side.
And thus, ABM visual was born!

ABM visual is a preferred Capture Services provider for Matterport in South Australia. Our projects and partnership extend further than this across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Our partnership with Matterport doesn’t end there, as we are also Authorised Matterport Resellers. This allows us to help your business manage your 3D models, your way.
Matterport is the standard for 3D space capture. Their all-in-one platform transforms real-life spaces into immersive digital twin models. So much more than 360 photos, the Matterport platform is the best way to create truly interactive 3D models of spaces.
Since 2011, they have focused on honing the immersive 3D experience for everyone from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Matterport has helped hundreds of thousands of customers process billions of images to create millions of models. Matterport is truly the best way to capture a space in 3D.
The ABM visual story continues
We opened for business in January of 2020, in Geelong, and closed our doors just 2 months later due to the Victorian COVID pandemic lockdowns!
However, all was not lost. During that time, we dedicated ourselves to researching emerging technologies and developing our range of skills, services, and solutions.
Before the pandemic, and even during it, we still managed to complete a few special projects. These included a 360 photo shoot with a troupe of acrobats, capturing a scuba diving resort in Thailand, and 3D scanning an entire rainforest walk that was closed to the public for renovations during the lockdown, thanks to Parks Victoria.
In November of 2020, a decision was made to move the business to Adelaide, in order to operate more freely.
Since arriving in Adelaide, ABM visual has focused on servicing Tourism, Hospitality, and Retail. Notably, we won a Wine Tourism award for our work in the Australian Wine Industry during 2023. Additionally, we created a Virtual Escape Room that was officially selected for the South Australian Game Exhibition in 2024, which we built for Mindshift Escape Rooms – a locally owned and family-operated business.

Discover effectively leverages the Matterport share setting options to empower content owners in making their spaces and profiles more discoverable, thereby attracting more views and business inquiries.
By publishing your 3D Virtual Tour publicly on Matterport Discover, you significantly enhance a space’s online discoverability. This is achieved by enabling search engines such as Google and Bing to crawl the page where it is automatically indexed, thereby increasing the likelihood of it appearing in their search results.
